The Restless Eye

My focus is on how images are perceived. In particular I seek to visually confound the immediate recognition of images to something quite different. I try to arrest the mind’s eye by momentarily creating an illusion that what is observed is really not what is observed. At other times I am revealing a statement to some witnessed or observed event in everyday life. Some of the images are humorous, some are worth thinking about. The name I have given this body of work is “Restless Eye”.

The double exposures and manipulated images are all created in camera and with darkroom work, not via computer.
